Fireworks fun!

Every year for the 24th of July (aka Pioneer Day, Day's of '47) we head down to Liberty Park to meet some friends and watch the fireworks. They close down the road and we sit in the middle of the street to enjoy the show. We have so much fun doing this and the fireworks are always great, this year was no exception. (Sorry, no pics of the fireworks, haven't figured out how to get them to turn out yet).
Nathan was being his usual silly self!
The kids waiting with their friends Isaac and Breanna for the fireworks to begin.
Chris and the kids with our friend Isaac.
We don't do a whole lot for this holiday and I usually end up working it, but we are hoping to one year camp out and see the parade that is held.
We'll let you know if we make it next year.

My little trouble makers...

Some pictures recently taken of the kids....

Nathan fell asleep while eating, and what you can't see is that Audrey decided to help herself to Nathan's food. I wasn't quite quick enough with the camera :)
Audrey has straight as can be and super fine hair. I'm trying to decide if I should cut it or let it continue to grow. I've tried barrette's to keep it out of her face, but they don't stay in so she ends up with a pony tail most days.
I tried out 2 pony tails the other day. It turned out cute, but she really didn't like me putting them in her hair.
Lately Nathan won't let me take any normal pictures of him. He's always goofing off or turning his head just as I take his picture...he's got a cute back of head.
He did let me take these the other day.
Of course he was covering up most of his face in both of them.

I don't remember why, but I took off Audrey's clothes the other day and she wandered around for the afternoon with a bow in her hair, a diaper on, and one shoe. She loved it!

I want a dog Daddy!

Some pictures of Grandma Jan's dog JoJo! The kids sure seem to like him. Nathan used to be scared of dogs, but seems to have warmed up to JoJo.
Here are Nathan, his cousin Jeremy and Audrey checking out the puppy.
Then last Thursday, I pulled in the driveway with the kids, Chris was working on his car and Nathan yells out the window at Chris "I want a dog Daddy!" Then on Saturday Chris took Nathan with him to the store, when they got home Chris said all Nathan talked about the whole time was how much he wanted a dog.

So, now we get to decide if we are going to get a dog. We wanted to get one, possibly next summer, and now may be moving up the time frame just a little bit. We shall see!!

My sweet babies!

I had some cute pictures of the kids that I thought I would share with ya'll...

Best buds!!

Audrey giving Grandma kisses through the gate. They both thought it was great fun!

I think Nathan looks like his Uncle Gregg when he was little in this picture.

Robot car movie!!!

Last Friday we decided to pack up the kids and the 4runner and head to the drive in to see the new "Robot car movie" (Transformers) as Nathan calls it.
Watching a movie on the DVD player before the movie starts. Playing in the aisles between the cars.We had a fun time and loved the movie! We do have a great time at the drive and love being able to take the kids and not have to worry about them being too loud. We get to put on our jammies and bring our own food and enjoy a great family outing!

4th of July!

We didn't do much for 4th of July. Just had a nice day hanging out at home, we ate some good food and watched a few fireworks.

I decided to try and get some new pics of the kids together....
You can see Audrey's one lone tooth in this picture.
Watchin' the fireworks.
