Bubbles anyone?

I think I may have to invest in bubbles. Nathan just loves them. He was playing outside on Monday and so I decided to bring out his bubble machine for the first time since he got it and he had sooo much fun playing and running in them. Doesn't it make you wish you were only 2? He sure had a blast!!!!

Some fun pics of Nathan...

I thought I'd post a few fun pictures of Nathan and what he's been up to the last couple of days. We got Nathan a new pair of swim trunks and he decided he needed to wear them. As you can see they are over his pajamas as he was ready to go to bed...
and on backwards. He didn't care, he was too excited that they had "Cars" on them.
He's ready for his close up.
I have a really hard time getting Nathan to look at me when I'm trying to get picture of him. I really like this pic though. He's not looking at the camera, but you can tell he's happy about something.
Getting into daddy's tools.

We spent some time outside this afternoon. Nathan has his eye on that pine cone.
Chris and Nathan tried to fly a kite this afternoon. It was a little too windy, they got it up in the air for a short time, but then the string broke.

Another productive weekend...

I had another productive weekend so far...who knows what I may get done tomorrow...and was able to finish a couple more of my many unfinished projects.

Here's Nathan's curtains. I got them done a couple of weeks ago, but finally picked up a curtain rod so we were able to hang them. Nathan loves playing in curtains so I am sure he'll have hours of fun with these in his room.

I also completed some new baby bibs. I have plenty left over from Nathan but decided that I needed some a little m
more girly.

Then I made the pillows that I had plans to complete for Nathan's Christmas and then for his birthday which didn't get done for either. Nathan LOVES pillows so I knew they would be a hit. He's been stealing the ones out of my living room and putting them in his room, so now that he has 3 new ones, maybe he'll leave mine where they belong...Probably not, but I can hope.

When I gave the pillows to Nathan he promptly made himself comfortable....

snuggling with his pillows and covered by his favorite blanket.

I was also able to finally finish the last sheet that goes with the crib bedding that I made before Nathan came. I've been wanting to get that finished forever. Nathan's patchwork quilt is also all tied and I got the binding all ready so I'll be working on getting the binding put on.

Sure feels good to get some projects done. I'm on a roll. Who knows what else I'll be able to get done in the next 5 weeks.

Work in progress

I got the top for Nathan's quilt all sewn together.

I've now got it set up in my dining room and I am working at getting it tied.

Nathan decided to lay under it today while I worked out it.

Chillin' with his sippy! He's been having a great time crawling around under his quilt.

Play time...

We decided to go to the park yesterday and let Nathan play around. He loved the slides and seemed to have a great time. I have a feeling we'll be spending a lot of time there. Plus it wears him out and he doesn't complain so much about taking a nap afterwards.

Project Completed!!!

I decided that before our little on gets here that I want to get some projects completed. Here's one of them that I've finished in the last couple weeks.

I started this shortly after Chris and I got married and were living in Sandy still. I finished quilting it and finished it during Conference weekend.

I've also finished curtains for Nathan's room, just need to get them hung up and also a baby afghan and a lap afghan that I started shortly after Christmas.

I love finishing projects, such a sense of accomplishment. I let you know when I get some more done.

Easy Rider!

Just a few pics of Nathan on his "car" wearing the hat he talked his Grandpa Dee out.
