A Thankful Day...

What I am thankful for today...

Little helpers...

Sweet baby girls...
And so much more...

I am thankful for a husband who takes care of and supports his family, for a little boy who love giving hugs and kisses, for a little girl who love her mama and give her lots of big grins. I am thankful for my family's health and safety. For a place to call home. For friends and family who love and support me.
I am thankful for my creativity and being able to share it with others.
I am thankful for the gospel in my life, good music, good food, good books, hugs and kisses, being able to document my kids and family's growth and share it with others.
I am so grateful for these things and so much more.

TSO- so excited!

Tonight Chris and are going to go see the TSO Christmas concert and we are SOOO excited. We went last year and have decided to make it a yearly tradition. It was awesome last year and I'm sure we won't be disappointed this year. If anyone would like to check out some of there music, just hit play...The third song "Wizard in Winter" is probably the best known of their songs. Enjoy!

High School Days...

I've been tagged.....

1. Did you date someone from your high school? -- Wanted to, the boys didn't seem to want to date me. I had crushed on a lot of boys throughout my high school years.

2. What kind of car did you drive? -- I drove my dad's Dodge Ram van that spent a few hours sunk in the Snake River in good ol' Weiser Idaho.

3.Did you pass your Drivers License Test your first try? -- of course!

4. Were you a party animal? -- Nope. Loved hanging out with all my friends though.

5. Were you considered a flirt? -- I don't think so, if I was I didn't do a very good job :)

6. Were you in band, orchestra or choir? -- No

7. Were you a nerd? -- I don't think so. My friends could tell you better.

8. Were you on any Varsity teams? -- I wasn't, but I was a good supporter of all the teams. I loved going to sporting events and cheering on my classmates and friends.

9. Did you ever get suspended or/expelled? -- A teacher tried to, but it didn't fly. Bogus complaint. Got detention instead. Gotta love Mr. V!

10. Can you still sing the fight song? -- We had a fight song? J/K! I'm not sure I ever really heard it, maybe once. (I'm curious if any of my friends out there remember or know it).

11. Who were your favorite teachers? -- The ones that come to mind...Mrs. Alder (although I'm not sure how much she appreciated me and my buddies), Mr. Schneider, Coach Pratt (although I was never in any of his classes he helped my friend and I sluff P.E. and we'd hang out in his office talking sports until we'd get caught). I had other great teachers, but I can't remember names at this time. Obviously they weren't unforgettable. I'll probably think of more later.

12. Where did you sit for lunch? -- In the Atrium or by the Senior lockers in the hallway by the Atrium.

13. What is your schools full name? -- Emmett High School

14. What's your school's mascot and colors? -- The Huskies, Blue and White.

15. Did you go to homecoming and with who?
-- Yes I did, every year. With my good friends, Tanya, Jenny, Stephanie, Jessie, Jessica, Sarah, Victoria...Sorry if I forgot anyone.

16. If you could go back and do it again would you? -- This may surprise some people, but I would. I really loved High School and had both great and bad experiences, but yes, I'd do it all over again!

17. What do you remember most about graduation? -- The fun party with all the classmates that night.

18. Where did you go senior skip day? -- I remember getting on a bus and a pretty meadowlike are, other then that I have no recollection. (I think I have pictures, I might have to see if I can find them). Obviously not very memorable. May some of my classmates can help jog my memories.

19. Were you in any clubs? -- Sure was... let's see...Key Club, an Art Club. I think that's it.

20. Have you gained some weight since then? -- Unfortunately so.

21. Are you planning on going to your 10 year reunion? -- Already did. The 2nd day. I can't believe it's been...12 years. Wow I feel old when I say that. When I don't think of how long it's been since high school I still feel like I'm just out of high school. I'll probably try to go to my 20 year too.

22. Did you have a job in high school? -- I picked strawberries and raspberry's the summer between my freshman and sophmore years and between my junior and senior years I worked at Arctic Circle. I quit that job so I could go to the football games!

GO HUSKIES!!!

I'm gonna tag Kimberly D., Jen, Angee, Sarah Y. and Kimi.

Pictures from this week...

Don't have much to say this week, just wanted to post a few pics.
We have officially labeled Audrey as "mobile". She can roll where ever she wants to go and is getting better at it every day.
Chris and I did vote this week. I decided that the kids were much cuter then we are so took pics of them with our "I voted" stickers.

This weeks Halloween fun!

We had a fun Halloween week starting last Saturday with our wards Chili Cook Off and Trunk-r-Treat. Our chili didn't win, but we had some fun that day.
Here's Nathan when after we pulled out the accessories for his costume. He had to try them on and ended up wearing them for a while before putting the whole costume together later that night. Our cute little Audrey.
Nathan showing off his whole get up! Our little pirate.
I didn't get a picture of Audrey in her costume, but did get one with her showing off her cute little pumpkin shirt!

We also had a fun party at our friends parents with all their friends and family! It was fun to see everyone dressed up. We missed our friends Kimi and Les and family, hopefully we'll be able to see them at next years party all dressed up.

Yesterday was a busy Halloween day. We started by getting the kids ready and taking them to the daycare for a little Halloween fun. The day about 9 in the morning, we then went to my work for Nathan to go trick-or-treating there. He got sooo much candy! I couldn't believe it. Audrey fell asleep for most of it. I guess it's not too exciting for a 5 month old.
Nathan the pirate. Arrgh!!! I loved that he would actually wear the eye patch. It made it difficult to put his candy in his bag, but he's had a blast all week wearing it. The earing on the other hand, we're lucky we got a few good pictures with it on. He didn't like that too much.
We then had some friends come over to eat some good food with us and help hand out candy and go trick-or-treating around the neighborhood. My sister Gina joined us in all of her 80's glory. Here's Aunti Gigi, Nathan and our little strawberry Audrey!!!I had to get a picture of just my sister in her get-up. It was pretty great. Big hair and all.Audrey the cute little Strawberry!! (I need to get some better pictures. She spit up on it and it needs to be washed then we'll try again)And finally Chris.
This was a new mask that we bought this year. It's really cool! Nathan's not too sure about it, but is getting better with it. (Chris had scared him pretty good earlier this month with the mask that's behind him with the nasty teeth. Not good.) To get Nathan to get used to it, we'd pull it out and started calling it the "papa mask". That seemed to help him with it.

We had a lot of fun this Halloween, but I'm sure glad it's over! Now for Thanksgiving and Christmas......Bring it on!!!
