Happy Birthday Bella!!

We went over to our friends Kimi and Les' for there little girl Bella's first birthday. Here's some pictures of her with her birthday cake. Say "bye-bye" cake, it didn't last long at all! I love that she just dug into the cake. She's such a beautiful little girl and I love her blue eyes!

She's done it!

So I decided that Audrey needed to be in her own room since I'll be going back to work and need her to start working on sleeping through the night. We got her crib set up and she slept in it for the first time Saturday night and guess what...she didn't wake up until 7am! Then Sunday night she only slept until 5, so I thought Sat night was a fluke. Well last night I put her to bed just after 10 and she didn't wake up until 7:30.
I know that Audrey will still have some bad nights, but I didn't believe she would do so well so fast. I had even asked Chris a couple weeks before how we ever got Nathan to sleep through the night and if we'd ever get Audrey to since she'd been waking me up every 3-4 hours. I guess it was just putting her in her own room that was the ticket.
This picture I took Sunday morning after her first night. I guess she was happy about it too since I caught her smiling! Sorry it's a little fuzzy.

I've been tagged! This one's a fun one.
The rules are: You have to take ten pictures of the following things, and you have to do it right away. No straightening, cleaning or wiping your child's nose.

1. The fridge- Notice all the milk. We always have milk in the house, Nathan just loves the stuff and we go through tons of it.
2. The closet-Nothing too exciting here.
3. Self portrait- Didn't really want to do this one, but since it's all in fun I did. Definitely not the cutest I've ever looked.
4. My favorite room- Probably Audrey's. It's the closest to being completed. Not really girly, but it matches the baby bedding and it's cute and works for both girls and boys! Love the polka dot. We just switched Nathan to the spare room and set up Audrey's on Saturday.
5. The kitchen sink- There's my pizza stone. Made homemade pizza last night. YUM!
6. The laundry room- Nothing much going on here.
7. The toilet- The toilet seat is down, but it is clean.
8. What are your kids doing right now. Nathan's drinking some milk, no surprise there and following me around the house as I'm taking pictures.
Audrey's still sleeping.
9. Dream Vacation- I would love to spend a couple weeks just traveling seeing the sites in a nice comfy RV. The Grand Canyon, San Fransisco, Florida, New York, etc. Maybe when I win the lottery. 10. Favorite shoes- I don't really have any favorite shoes. I go barefoot whenever I can. These are what I wear during the summer.
I'm tagging Amy, Challise, Chesney, Kim and Sarah.
Have fun!

Must water children!

Who knew that kids needed to be watered like your lawn?

Chris was out watering the front lawn the other day and Nathan decided he wanted to play. He kept putting his head right in the stream of water and thought it was the greatest thing ever!

As you can see he got soaked and had a ton of fun in the process.

Audrey's blessing

We blessed Audrey on July 6th. Since it was the 4th of July weekend there wasn't a lot of people there and it was really nice.
Thanks to everyone who was able to make it and enjoy the special meeting with us.

Here's Audrey in her beautiful blessing dress. I had this dress made for her long before we knew we were even having a girl in hopes that someday we would have someone to where it. It was made by the same person that made my blessing dress and is like the one that I was blessed in, only a little bigger. I love the touches of pink on it.

Thanks you Challise for making Audrey's bow. It was perfect!!

Summer fun...

Wanted to share some pictures of some of the fun Nathan's had in the summer sun so far!
Since he loves water so much and loved our regular hose nozzle, I found a kiddie hose nozzle. Nathan loves it! Of course I have to keep him away from the front door, for some reason all he wants to do is spray the front door.
Unless he's trying to get dad wet.
Here's Nathan playing in his little kiddie pool..

and splashing around.

Yummy popsicles! This was Nathan's first popsicle of the summer. I think he really enjoyed it. He sure got sticky enough.
