Easter Weekend....

We didn't do a lot for Easter, but it seems like the less we plan the better the day ends up being in the end, so I guess it all worked out.
Nathan has started soccer again this year, so we passed up doing the Easter egg hunt at the fitness center this year and just went straight to his game. It was pretty good, Nathan still hasn't decided if he wants to play or not. There are times he wants to be in and plays really good...and other times when he just wants to sit out and doesn't want anything to do with it. We'll see how the season goes.
Here's a pic of Nathan waiting for his turn to kick the ball...
After soccer we went over to the neighbors and hung out with their family. They got a new swingset and Chris helped them put it together while I worked on some sewing projects of my own and helped my neighbor with some of hers. And of course the kids played...and made messes. :)
Sunday morning the kids woke up to find these...
Some cute fabric Easter bunnies I made and some marshmallow chocolate eggs the the Young Women in our ward made as a fundraiser. (They were yummy too, I had to take a taste of course.)
Since we have church at 9 in the morning, the Easter bunny didn't stop at our house until after church.
Here are the kids in their Easter outfits. I made Audrey's dress.
And a close up of Audrey's matching barrettes.
The kids had fun checking out what they got and getting full of candy (sorry, didn't get any pics of their haul). And then they both crashed, which never happens.

Audrey slept for almost 2 hours and Nathan for 1 1/2 hours, it was a nice break. Between playing the day before and all the fun they were having, it really wasn't much of a surprise.
Later in the afternoon while we were eating our dinner, Nathan decided he wanted to go on an Easter egg hunt, so Chris and I filled eggs with some candy and some coins and went outside to hide them. They kids had such a fun time finding them.
Here's Nathan and his eggs...
And Audrey with hers...
I love having relaxed holidays when we're able to spend time as family and it's not too structured so we are all able to have more fun!
