We decided to let Nathan eat his dinner on his own last night. It was quite amusing and not as big of a mess as we thought it would be!
Yay! Spaghetti!!
Nathan would take noodles off his plate and neatly place them on his fork, then try to get them to his mouth. It wasn't really working for him, eventually he let us help.
We had some visitors from both the north and south come and join us on Sunday. Grandpa Johnson, Uncle Gregg and Spencer from Idaho had gone to Logan to visit my cousin Ryan and his family and watch a few basketball games Thursday and Saturday and my Uncle Roger had come in from California. They decided to stop by as they headed out of town. Here's some pics of the visit....
This is Nathan's Great Uncle Roger, otherwise known as Grandpa Roger. Nathan normally doesn't let people hold him like this. I guess he made an exception!
Nathan and his cousin Spencer. They are best of buds!
Daddy and Nathan are butting heads already!!
The best seat in the house. Especially for sleeping. Grandpas' lap is the best!!
We've decided to finally get a blog going and share our great news. I think we are still in a little shock, at least I am, but we are getting a little girl to add to our family. When we asked Nathan if he was happy about his baby sister, he nodded his head. Of course we either get a nod or back and forth shake so it's hard to say.
Chris and I have been married since October 2003. Nathan joined the family in 2006 and Audrey in 2008. We love to spend time together as a family watching movies, going to the park and just hanging out together. Nathan loves anything that has to do with cars, superheros and Buzz LightYear. He's doing great in school and is really good with numbers and reading. His favorite activity is playing games on the Wii. Audrey loves animals, annoying her brother and getting "pretties" put in her hair. She loves to spend time with mommy doing girl stuff but also has a little tom boy in her. She growls like no other little girl we know and really likes dinosaurs.
